4. Select both of the accent shapes and apply a white fill and no stroke.
5. In the Color panel, click the Fill Color swatch to open the color palette.
Remember, all panels can be accessed in the Window menu.
6. Place the cursor over the Alpha value (in the top-right corner of the palette)
until you see a two-headed arrow in the hand icon.
When you see this cursor, you can click
and drag left or right to change the
associated value (called “scrubbing”).
7. Click and drag left to reduce the Alpha value to 50%.
After reducing the Alpha value,
you can see some of the red color
through the white-filled shapes.
8. Save the file and continue to the next exercise.
