As we discussed during the production meeting for this assignment, you will base your
work on a scanned sketch. Animate can import a range of file formats, including JPG,
GIF, PNG, TIF, EPS, and native Illustrator and Photoshop files.
1. With corvette.fla open, choose File>Import>Import to Stage.
Four options are available when you choose the Import command: Note:
Press Command/
• Import to Stage simply brings an external image onto the current Stage.
Imported bitmap images are also added to the file Library panel; if you import a Control-R to import an

• Import to Library automatically places graphics into the Animate Library panel.
• Open External Library is commonly used to incorporate graphics from one
project into another project.
• Import Video allows you to bring digital video into an Animate file.
