10. Click and drag again near the corner of the front bumper.
Do not click the actual corner in the sketch. Because the bumper’s edge is actually
rounded, it’s better to place anchor points on both sides of the curve rather than in the
exact center of the curve.
Don’t worry about
matching the sketched
hood exactly; you’ll fix this
in the next exercise.
11. Click on the front side of the bumper, just below the curve, and drag short
handles along the path of the bumper’s front edge.
As you can see in our example, symmetrical points often result in incorrect paths. You
will learn how to fix this type of problem in the next exercise.

12. Click just before the bottom curve of the bumper shape and drag slightly
along the path of the bumper’s front edge.
The point here is to create a smooth point with handles on both sides, without
significantly affecting the shape of the connecting curve. Dragging a very small distance
accomplishes this goal.
